Request the accessibility standard your site needs. A wheelchair-accessible unit and an ADA-compliant model are different options; the approach and placement need to work as well.

These PolyJohn Comfort XL reference dimensions do not establish ADA compliance. Ask about the documented We’ll Care III or Satellite Freedom configuration when required.
The equipment information includes wheelchair-accessible and ADA options. Extra floor space alone does not make a unit ADA compliant. Explain the event or site requirements and request the exact equipment documentation, entry details, and layout. The Comfort XL measurements above describe that model only.
For a gathering on an Abilene lawn or a changing construction site, consider the entire trip to the toilet. A curb, soft surface, obstructed door, or steep route can prevent access even when the equipment is suitable. Plan lighting, signage where needed, and enough usable approach space; confirm the full site arrangement with the responsible authority.
The Access Board guide specifies at least 5% accessible units in covered portable-toilet clusters. A cluster of 10 therefore needs at least 1; a cluster of 30 needs at least 2. Calculate separate clusters separately. Coverage exceptions and other requirements must also be checked; these examples are not a certification of your event plan.
